Poem 50 – “My Daddy Mows”

Standard

“My Daddy Mows” by Jaymie Gerard

When the grass grows

My daddy mows

He mows and mows

In perfect rows

He mows as summer

Comes and goes

And through the autumn

Highs and lows

My daddy mows

And mows and mows

And only stops

Because it snows

  1. I subscribed only yesterday, so I read just 4 of your poems, still I must say I’m impressed – a poem a day, is that so? I liked all I’ve read so far equally (can’t wait to read them all).

How would you like this for the opening lines:
    “My daddy mows
    The grass that grows” ?

    Keep them coming
